Since we arrived quite early the first day we did a little mini tour on a few hours to a nearby secondary forest (forest that had been cut down earlier).
We started by paddling for a few hundreds, except this bird and dog we didn’t see much wildlife, after that we continued on foot crossing this road and bridge.
We didn’t see much wildlife in the forest either, above you can see Batata spotting a monkey, unfortunately I didn’t get any good photo of it. And I wonder what they had used that shotgun shell on..? Despite the lack of tigers, elephants & giraffes the forest was okay, something that quite hard to catch with a camera is the sound, and there was a lot of sounds.
On our way back the darkness came faster than a 14 year old virgin named George, so we had to paddled back in the dark.
