One of the first things I normally do when I arrive to a new place is to look for a place to stay. When we left from Belem we saw a little poster at our hostel about a place named Casa Alema that wasn’t that expensive, and since Till is from Germany and Casa Alema means ”German house” we thought it would be a good place to check that place out. Now afterwards I’m really happy we did, it is one of the cheapest places we’ve stayed at and it included breakfast, internet and really good service, it was owned by a german/brazilian couple.
They also had a big beautiful garden.
The only bad thing with this place and entire Soure was the distances, it was almost 2 km to the beach, which is quite far to walk in this heat/humidity. Therefore we rented a couple of bikes one day and took a ride down to the beach. I’ll show you some pics from that trip tomorrow, cheers! /Erik
