One of the things I really wanted to do on this trip was to learn how to surf, but by some reason I ended up in Jericoacoara where there aren’t any good waves for normal surfing, but something they did have was wind. So I ended up taking kite surfing lessons instead, which was a real challenge. The first to days was mostly about learning how the kite worked, so there was no much surfing those two days. On the third day I finally got the chance to go on the board (which I did, at least a few meters..), but it sure was hard. Because I was moving on to another place I only took 3 classes, but it’s very possible I’ll try it again later.
Took these photos while waiting for my 3rd class, with me I had Aleksandra & Till (you will see much more of Till since we’ve been traveling together for quite a while after Jericoacoara), they both stayed at the same place in Jeri as I did. The first shots are from some kind of hotel, I don’t know if it’s because of low season or nobody wants to go there, but the place was pretty much deserted.
Afterwards I took a little stroll on the beach, as you can see there are quite many kite surfers on this spot just east of Jericoacoara.
