Jericoacoara,the place where tarmac doesn’t exist, the entire city is practically made out of sand. And everywhere you go you see horses & donkeys. To get here you have to have a 4 wheel drive, the most popular vehicle is the sand buggy.
Another thing Jericoacoara is famous for (except the wind and the beach) is the beautiful sunsets from Pôr do Sol, which is a big sand dune with a great view to the west, this point is one of the few places in Brazil you can actually see the sun go down in the ocean.
Everyday a lot of people gather just to view this magical sunset.
