I think I should write more post on how much I want to go home. I really thought the winter was over here in Italy, but suddenly we had another 30-40 cm of fresh powder this monday. The weather forecast said it would snow the entire day, therefore I left my SLRs at home and only brought my GoPro. But who would have known that just as we got to the top o Punta Indren all of the clouds would just disappear and we would get one of the best runs this entire season. That day we skied together with Matta from sweden and a really cool english couple. If you want to see more from Monday you can go to our Snow-Surfers blog and watch Mattas and August pictures.
On the way up to Punta Indren (3260 m) and the run ”La Balma”
On Tuesday we went up to Punta Indren once again hoping for another awesome run, this day we had a really nice bluebird with the sun shining on us, we also met a really nice couple from Sweden that we skied with. Unfortunately the wind had messed up the snow totally and instead of 40 cm of fresh powder we had some big problems getting down on some parts because the snow was really tricky. But in the long run I had a wonderful day with some really nice company, and we did find some nice parts to ski were the sun/wind hadn’t been.
On our way up to Punta Indren once again, this time together with Kristoffer and his girlfriend (who’s name I totally forgot :/ )
Same as Monday we were with the first group do the La Balma run, awesome!
Hopefully we will get more snow this weekend!
